Dawn in Cappadocia

Cappadocia is one of my favourite places in the world. It’s magical, ethereal, and mystical. It’s also one of those places where “coincidences” happen quite often and where your dreams are so incredibly vivid and oftentimes full of symbolism.

I’ve been looking over some photos from the past year, and came across this one - balloons at dawn taken from a hotel terrace in Uçhisar (in May). Though I’ve never been on one (and probably never will), its always such a sight to witness.

Though I won’t be getting into any details of Cappadocia in this particular post, I wanted to share a couple of photos with you that capture a part of the essence of this beautiful place.

I hope you get a chance to visit this spectacular place. And if you do, don’t forget to try the local wine. :)
