To Heal

is [emotions]

I often find myself listening to certain songs on repeat. I feel that there’s a need to remain in a loop; in the essence of the frequency or melody that’s being played.

I love that you ‘play piano’ or ‘play guitar’. The element of play in making music and listening to music are truly unmatched. Music truly allows us to delve into a multi-dimensional sensory experience.

There are times where I can’t listen to music. The melodies are too much, too overwhelming. Sometimes I need instrumental tunes, sometimes the bare minimum sounds do it (like binuaral beats), and sometimes I need a full on groovy complex, rhythmic and melodic mashup.

Anyway. To heal is [insert emotions]. That’s what it is; it’s different for everyone, but it almost certainly includes emotions of some sort (most probably painful ones too).

This is a good tune for ‘just one of those days’ where nothing really makes sense, and yet you care too much to ignore the nonsensical systems that keep us trapped in this absurd ‘order of things’ that we seem to have created for ourselves in the world.

I hope we wake up soon and realise we aren’t disconnected from anything at all—far from it. We’ve never needed each other more.
